Message from Chief Vigilance Officer
Dear Visitor,
I welcome you all to the webpage of the Vigilance Department of the Kolkata Port Trust. Vigilance is not a onetime event or stand alone activity but a continuous process. It is an essential component of management just as Finance, HR, Administration and Engineering. Effective vigilance surely translates into quality output that puts the growth of organisation on a higher trajectory. We take pride in affirming that the KoPT attaches very high importance to its Vigilance activities. The Vigilance Department, therefore, directly reports to the Chairman, who takes personal interest in promoting a culture of honesty, transparency and fairness in the organisation. We would invite you to share your experiences, thoughts and feelings that you had while dealing with the divisions so that we can simplify the process for better corporate governance. Please feel free to approach the Vigilance Department with complaints regarding cases of corruption which you might come across, in your dealings with the organisation.
